Insurance fraud seminar 2015

On 27 February, 2015, an international seminar “INSURANCE FRAUD, RECOGNITION AND RETURN OF STOLEN CARS”, organized by Latvian Insurers Association, was held at the Hotel Ibis Styles Riga.

The seminar was attended by more than 50 participants from the three Baltic countries, Belarus, Russia, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Sweden, UK, and Czech Republic.

The key topics discussed were:

• Experience and activities of local and foreign insurers in detection and combatting of insurance fraud
• Cross-border cooperation
• Devices to decrease crime

Several high-level experts from the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators were amongst the speakers of the seminar.
